"I am an Independent Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. I spent many years in both education and nursing, giving me more than 28 years of experience working in human service fields. My diverse background includes growing up along the Amazon River in Brazil, an experience that has shaped both my worldview and my approach to caring for others. I am passionate about creating a space where clients feel accepted and have permission to be exactly where they are. From there, I work alongside them to develop practical tools for navigating life's challenges, healing from past experiences, and improving their overall mental health and daily functioning. Because I come from a Judeo-Christian background, I have an understanding of spiritual systems as well as the trauma that can sometimes occur within them. I tailor therapy to each individual's needs by drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches."
