"I am an administrative assistant at COR Therapeutic, Services. Being the first point of contact at times in our office, my goal is to bridge the structure of business with the heart of mental health support. I hold an associate degree in business administration, which helps me keep our daily operations organized, but my true focus is ensuring that every person who walks through our door feels welcomed, safe, and valued. I deeply believe in creating a compassionate space for others, a core value that I have learned and grown into through loving on and raising my three amazing kids."

"I received my undergraduate in Human Services from Wayne State College. I have 9 years of experience working both in the field as well as in administrative capacities within Human Services. My experience in the field has given me a sense of empathy to understand another person's experience and point of view. My experience as a Support Services Coordinator has given me the opportunity to connect with staff on a personal level and use their individualism as a unique way to connect them with families. I believe everyone has a purpose and no one's purpose is better than another's. If we all work together, we can help each other fulfill our purposes."

Jill Smith

"As an Administrative Assistant at the front desk in Norfolk, I’m passionate about helping others and providing excellent service to everyone who walks through our doors. My career path has been varied, from being a CNA/Med Aide and a daycare provider to spending time as a stay-at-home mom. Each experience has taught me valuable lessons, but I truly enjoy the change of pace that my current role offers. With a vivid imagination and a passion for creativity, I bring a positive and energetic attitude to both my work and personal life."

"My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Political Science and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both completed at Wayne State College. During grad school, I was a Graduate Assistant, along with working as a Residential Technician at Liberty Centre Services. An internship at WSC's Student Health and Counseling Center led to joining the office as a Licensed Student Counselor after graduating and obtaining my provisional license. In that role, I provided individual counseling, group services, and outreach programming on campus. In January 2023, I transitioned to academic administration as Director of Counseling Services for the WSC Counseling Program, where I tracked student progress, coordinated field experiences, and provided clinical supervision, among other duties. Since January 2023, I have also served as director of the Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska's (BHECN) Northeast site, facilitating regional initiatives that advance behavioral health workforce development in partnership with students, providers, organizations, and BHECN's statewide network. In June 2026, I joined COR Therapeutic Services as Director of Human Relations & Development, a role integrating HR compliance and humanistic career development to support both organizational effectiveness and employee well-being."
